This is a basic intro into handbuilding workshop. We will handcraft from stoneware adding a unique design. There will be a 1:1 glaze consultation at the end of the workshop. After work dries to a leather hard stage, it is fired twice in our on-site kiln, and will be ready for pick up in approximately 2 weeks from your class date. There is nothing like pottery to teach you patience! Hot Tips: Dress for a mess! Just old clothes and no jewelry that gets in the way. Supplies: All supplies included. Bring your own favorite flowers or lace to create texture.

Give your morning ritual a woodland feel. Nature elements make beautiful artwork. Collect your favorite wildflower or blades of grass and bring them with you. Handcrafted from stoneware, the unique design starts as a flat piece of clay, pressed flowers and texture are added, and then folded to create an organic mug. This workshop is approximately 2 hours, depending on your design, and speed of work. At the end of class, you'll have a one-on-one glaze consultation with your instructor. Pinch Pot Mugs-all ages

This workshop is open to all ages, but under age 10, must be accompanied by a paying parent
Are you looking for an easy, quick, fun art project? This workshop is all of those things! This is a hand building ceramic workshop where you will be making your own mug in a beginner friendly and inviting space!
The clay will start as a simple one pound ball. We will then pinch and shape the clay to your desired liking. We will then make a handle, shape it and then attach it to the body. Lastly we will add any finishing touches!
This workshop is approximately 2 hours, depending on your design, and speed of work. At the end of class, you'll have a one-on-one glaze consultation with your instructor, with a limited choice of glaze. After work dries to a leather hard stage, it is fired twice in our on-site kiln, and will be ready for pick up in approximately 2 weeks from your class date.

A tumbler should have an organic creative feel. Design your tumbler with texture of your choice in this workshop. Handcrafted from stoneware (or choose a brown clay), the unique design starts as a flat piece of clay, pressed with texture, and then folded to create an organically sealed tumbler.
