This workshop is open to all ages, but under age 10, must be accompanied by a paying parent

Are you looking for an easy, quick, fun art project? This workshop is all of those things! This is a hand building ceramic workshop where you will be making your own mug in a beginner friendly and inviting space!

The clay will start as a simple one pound ball. We will then pinch and shape the clay to your desired liking. We will then make a handle, shape it and then attach it to the body. Lastly we will add any finishing touches!

This workshop is approximately 2 hours, depending on your design, and speed of work. At the end of class, you'll have a one-on-one glaze consultation with your instructor, with a limited choice of glaze. After work dries to a leather hard stage, it is fired twice in our on-site kiln, and will be ready for pick up in approximately 2 weeks from your class date.

Registration deadline: February 16, 2022. Class limits 6 students.

Location: 1 Park Street, Elkins, WV. Tan/Cream house. Red Sign says One Park Studios. Parking is free in front of Elkins city park. Please do not park in Broughton Sports parking lot.
