A tumbler should have an organic creative feel. Design your tumbler with texture of your choice in this workshop. Handcrafted from stoneware (or choose a brown clay), the unique design starts as a flat piece of clay, pressed with texture, and then folded to create an organically sealed tumbler.
This workshop is approximately 2.5 hours, depending on your design, and speed of work. At the end of class, you'll have a one-on-one glaze consultation with your instructor, with a limited choice of glaze. After work dries to a leather hard stage, it is fired twice in our on-site kiln, and will be ready for pick up in approximately 2 weeks from your class date. There is nothing like pottery to teach you patience!

Location: 1 Park Street, Elkins, WV. Tan/Cream house. Red Sign says One Park Studios. Parking is free in front of Elkins city park. Please do not park in Broughton Sports parking lot.
