Opening Reception is Saturday, June 20th, from 3-5pm.

Displaying in the Maxwell Gallery.

“We are very good at preparing to live, but often not very good at living… We have difficulty remembering that we are alive in the present moment, the only moment there is for us to be alive.” – Thich Nhat Hanh

Debi White-Eastep and Jeannine Romano are West Virginia natives whose artwork seeks to capture everyday moments. Through watercolor and photography, they express the “Wild and Wonderful” moments in everyday life.

“In this joint exhibit, we expressed our friendship from two very different points of view - tied together with the common thread of art to create a unique series: One subject expressed in photography and watercolor. We urge the viewer to compare and contrast the works to get the true sense of our subjects in the moment – Morning sunlight on a hidden leaf, water droplets suspended on a web and a garden gate that is open or closing. Be in the “Present Moment.”

We hope you enjoy our work as much as we enjoy creating it!”

- Debi and Jeannine
