“I have been a creator & maker of things for as long as I can remember.

I was inspired by my parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts & uncles, all who made — in my estimation— wonderful things. I was encouraged to try many forms of art and crafts. In my younger years, my art was utilitarian, often out of necessity, such as clothing, curtains, wooden toys, and decor for our home. As I grew older, I began to pursue art that ‘called to me’, such as basketry and stained-glass. Now, I create art for arts sake”
