“Constant Moment” Lina Arnold Solo Exhibition

  • The Arts Center 2 PARK ST ELKINS, WV 26241 US (map)

Opening reception is Wednesday December 3, from 4-6 pm.
“This is my first ever exhibit! I have mixed feelings of pride and fear. But it brings me great joy and pleasure to do art, I hope by looking at my works - others could feel this too.

Nature is the biggest inspiration for me. Nature and how you're feeling about the surrounding world - that's all you need to start and continue. I am always amazed by plants and all flora, that element is constant in my works.

I believe every artist encounters in his life - what you imagine in your mind - doesn't always lay from your hand exactly on the surface. You see an idea in your head - what comes out - is it better? Is it worse? Who could say? You can't show exactly what you have in your mind - it comes out as only an echo of your thoughts. Who can judge? The artist is the harshest judge of his work, I believe. Then you say - I had it differently in my head, now I have to try again, but the idea changed and next time it comes out different again, cause life changed, thinking changed, opinion and mood and feeling are different. Again.

...and you always wish that there would be more than 24 hours a day :-)” - Lina Arnold, 2025.
