With an Open Studio Pottery pass you can work independently in our One Park Studio Pottery House. Plenty of space to store your clay and tools, and use of our tools and equipment is available to you. This monthly pass is for the Intermediate to Advanced potters only.
Requirements and Details:
Artist Membership Required.
Bring your own clay for the Pottery Studio
Bring your own stained glass or fused glass
Mindful of space in a community studio
Use of our equipment and tools
Pre-requisite of at least one Art Center pottery class
Payment on the 1st of each month
Studio hours: Monday to Thursday, 10 to 3 are the Arts Center’s office hours. Studio members have after hours access, but we require mindfulness and respect to the Arts Center’s Art Class Schedule. This schedule varies weekly and if a class is in progress, you will not have access during that time. We request and require attention to the class schedules. The Arts Center at times has unadvertised workshops, and we will notify studio members via email, of any changes not posted online.
The pottery studio operates currently with clay at a mid-fire range. All our glazes are available for your use and are mid-fire glazes.
The glass studio requires you to bring your own stained glass or fused glass. It is possible to set our kiln to a glass fire setting, but we use them primarily for pottery firings. You should have your own nippers, and other materials. Occasional studio items might be available to you.
We require an interview for first time studio members before studio access is gained. In addition, you should have taken at least one of the Arts Center’s pottery or glass classes.
