Traditional Paper Cut - Scherenschnitt, (Silhouette)
Age: Teens and Adults
In this workshop students will be introduced to simple paper cut techniques. They will be able to use existing patterns or make their own black and white designs. In addition to black paper, designs can also be made from colored papers and mounted on white or colored backgrounds.
Traditional Scherenschnitt has been used in many cultures and is today expanded into an art form that is appreciated around the world. Maggi has studied Paper Cutting, incorporated it into her repertoire of art techniques, and taught it during her tenure at Elkins High School.
Location: 2 Park St, upstairs art ed room
Cost: $30 Members and $40 Non Members

The Arts Center phone lines are in/out. Often we can call out, but incoming calls wont ring on our end, and often dropped for the caller. We are working on a solution.
