Requirements: *Ability to throw a cylinder on the wheel and *bring your own towel

There is nothing better than a mug that fits your hand perfectly. In this intermediate workshop, we will begin on the wheel throwing cylinders on the wheel. Then we get to add that personalized touch by gently using our hands to make a dent in the cylinder, adding covers over the dents so our hands fit snugly. This mug will be your favorite go to mug on a chilly morning!

Cost $40 Members and $50 Non Members

The art center includes the use of our tools, equipment and provides clay/glaze for the general class. All students are required to help with cleaning the studio. It should look better than when you arrived! Hot Tips: Bring an old towel with you. Feel free to bring your own apron. Pottery is best for trimmed nails, old clothes, and no jewelry. Parking is free in front of Elkins city park. Do NOT park in Broughton Sports parking lot.
