Raven Hedrick

Raven Hedrick is a senior at Davis and Elkins college. She is graduating with a Bachelors of Arts and minor in Digital Media. She specializes in ceramics and always looks for ways to broaden her capabilities. While in college she has attended a few fairs and festivals and has sold out each time. She is local to Seneca Rocks, West Virginia and is also planning to widen her reach by attending shows and festivals in the surrounding states.

When she started college she was pursuing a bachelors of science majoring in biology and chemistry. However, she always challenged her self to take one art class every semester. She enjoyed them so much that her junior year, despite going against advice from others, changed her major and has never looked back. She has since started her own business along with being a full time student and being involved with the Davis and Elkins Volleyball team.

Raven is very passionate about ceramics and learning as much as possible and is diverse in her techniques. Her favorite thing about ceramics is experimenting with glazes and is always trying out new ones in her spare time. She is often seen in the studio, sometimes for 4-7 hours a day. If you love it and find therapy in it, why not?

Raven would love for you to be a part of the informational and whimsically creative environment. She strives to create a stress free and carefree environment for everyone. The studio is a very relaxing place and she finds it very therapeutic. She will teach you hand building and simple wheel throwing along with providing the opportunity for expanding your skill sets in different areas.
