Internship Opportunities
The mission of the arts center is to enhance the cultural and economic life of our region by providing facilities and arts programming that will entertain, educate and inspire all of our citizens. We achiever our mission by providing quality arts education classes, performances and community events. Interns would assist us in achieving our mission. There are various opportunities at the Arts Center.
Summer Opportunities
-Assist as a classroom aide in camps and classes
-Gallery Assistant
-Assist with arts programming and fundraiser needs
Fall and spring opportunities might look like:
-Assist the After School Art Director with the After School Program
-Gallery Assistant
-Assist with programming, concerts, community events
-oversee the art registration
Requirements:
-Current student (high school and college accepted)
-Knowledge and passion for the arts
-Adhere to the Arts Centers Child Protection Policy and other policies-Age dependent requires a background check
-commitment to schedule
-have fun! Willing to make mistakes and keep trying!
Schedule: Days and hours will be set to meet the needs of both parties
Compensation :This is a non-paid position where you learn valuable skills and job prep for future work
