Art Instructor EPRC Summer Program
For the motivated and enthusiastic artist, to instruct the EPRC Summer Art Program at the Arts Center. This group meets in our art education studio weekly where the instructor will provide arts education in a variety of mediums. The instructor is responsible for designing and implementing the lesson, set up supplies for the class, and cleanup. Instructors are present the entire class to supervise, guide, and encourage students with their art projects.
Requirements:
-Passion for the arts and working with children
-Adhere to the Arts Centers Child Protection Policy and obtain a background clearance. The Arts Center will assist you in obtaining these clearances if needed.
-Prior experience working with children or in a classroom setting is required
-ability to design lessons that are fun and engaging for the student is a must with a variety of mediums-painting, pottery, weaving, and more
-ability to adapt to the changing needs of a classroom or lesson plan as needed
-reliable and punctual
-Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students and Art Center staff
-collaborate and communicate to ensure a safe, positive and enriching experience for all students
EPRC Schedule meets in our Art Education studio on Thursdays June 12, 19, 26, July 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31. Two groups- 10 am to 11 am and 11 am to Noon.
Pay: $800 contracted, w9 required
