September 23, 2023, at 11 am, in the town of Davis, WV, during the Leaf Peepers Festival. The 2k/5k walk run takes place. The 5k is USATF sanctioned and the course is for walkers and competitive runners, but speed is not required to win. (Again, you can still do virtual)

The purpose of Run 4 It is to raise awareness and support for non profits, civic organizations and other charities, throughout many counties. The Tucker Community Foundation challenges participants to raise team support for the community cause of their choice during the Run For It 2023 campaign and then run or walk for that cause. The event raises funds and awareness for community organizations, projects, nonprofit agencies, educational activities, and charities located within the Foundation’s service area.
At its heart, RUN FOR IT has two goals:
1. To encourage participation in a healthy activity (running & walking).
2. To leverage funds for area causes.
Entry fee proceeds, team sponsor support, and cash awards benefit the racer's favorite:
* Non-profit organization
* Youth group
* Civic organization
* Public Library
* Community improvement project
* School project or educational trip
* School & community based athletic group
* Existing or new TCF Endowed Fund and other charitable causes
