Danielle Cade, “Dani” is from Kerrville, Texas. She holds a BFA in Visual Arts from Marshall University. She began her career with the Arts Center in 2014 as Arts Coordinator and assumed the role of Executive Director in 2021. Her work is guided by a commitment to advancing the organization’s mission and values. With more than a decade of nonprofit experience, she understands the challenges nonprofits face and the importance of fostering meaningful connections within the community. She is actively involved in community service and serves on various committees.

Following college, Dani served as Art Director at Camp Hidden Meadows, where she developed and led the camp’s art program for two years actively traveled to camp fairs on the East Coast. She took her own travel adventure before locating to Elkins in 2006, where she continued pursuing her passion for the arts as an instructor with Arts Bank and the Arts Center. Instructing art quickly became a meaningful part of her professional life, inspiring her commitment to expanding access to arts education throughout the community. With more than 20 years of teaching experience across all age groups and a variety of artistic media, she strives to create a positive, fun, and relaxed classroom environment where creativity and exploration are at the heart of every class.

Dani’s own artwork spans a variety of subjects and media, with an emphasis on color, expression, and an organic aesthetic. She views each piece as an opportunity for discovery, embracing the creative process and the unexpected directions it can take. As a practicing artist, she remains actively engaged in supporting the arts and exhibiting her beyond West Virginia.
