Have you always wanted to try your hand at the pottery wheel? Stop in and throw a bowl on the wheel. Instructors on site to help you create on the wheel or hand-building from a slab! Takes approximately 2 weeks to dry before firing in kiln. Join us after the work has been fired for a free glazing experience! Get creative, unwind with art, and bring a friend! All pottery will be donated to the Bowl Fest fundraiser which takes place on Saturday, July 29, 2023, during Augusta in the Park!

We are super excited people are interested in our Free Wheel Throw Nites and Glaze Nite. A couple things to keep in mind:

1. All items created will be donated to our Bowl Fest Fundraiser. If any item is created. The wheel can be challenging!
2. The studio will be busy with people stopping in and and checking this out! People may be waiting turns to give the wheel a spin!
3. You should check out our free glaze nite also! Glazing is fun!
4. Kids are welcome to try a pinch pot on the other side of the room, and should be able to follow instructions from an instructor. This is not a typical Art Center class and the wheel is challenging, and may not be appropriate for smaller children.
