Wild and Unwieldy Basketry
Beginners Welcome! Adults, Mature teens welcome. 10 student limit.
Dates Available: Tuesdays, Jan 9, Feb. 6 and March 12
Registration Deadline is one week preceding the class start date.
Time: 5:30 to 8:30 pm
Cost: $50 for the first or a single session. $40 for any additional sessions.
Minimum of 4 students needed to run this workshop each time!
Supply Fee: $5 cash to the instructor each session.
Location: 1 Park Street Studio upstairs

Basketry projects made with locally harvested plant material. Get your fingers and creative energy moving in this basic basketry course-- drop in for one or two sessions or come to all five to flesh out your new skill! Each month we will explore a different method, material or design! You will observe demos, short lectures, and detailed instruction to inspire and guide you, but there will also be space to go with your gut and follow your unique aesthetic impulses. Enjoy the cozy and nourishing atmosphere of learning and weaving in a circle with your fellow community members. And bring home a beautiful basket woven with your own two hands and your new (and ancient) skill.
