Traditional hand and wheel class with the expertise of two professional potters showing various methods for pottery creation. Wheel: Participants will be taught how to wedge clay, center on the pottery wheel and learn basic wheel throwing. Each participant will spend time on the wheel with hands on instruction. Hand built ceramics offer a wide arrangement of techniques, that may include slab construction, coil method, drape mold construction, tile slab, amongst others.

In this class you will experience both! Designed for beginners or those continuing their beginner skills. The art center includes the use of our tools, equipment and provides clay/glaze for the general class. All students are required to help with cleaning the studio. It should look better than when you arrived!
