Explore the Spanish language through art, games, songs, & foods! 

Cost $55 Members and $65 Non Members, Supply Fee: $10 flat fee
For two hours a day we will immerse ourselves in Spanish with a variety of activities. Campers will be introduced to Spanish and encouraged to use the language each day of camp and beyond. This camp is designed for elementary age children; no prior Spanish knowledge is required. 

During the week:

Campers will sample foods of the Spanish speaking world. We will prepare traditional Costs Rican Batidos (fruit smoothies) while learning the names of fruits and the countries they come from. We will describe foods and express our likes and dislikes in Spanish. 

We will create (paper) mosaics inspired by artists from Spain & Cuba. With the mosaics we will practice colors and how to politely interact with other Spanish speakers. 

Through songs and games we will practice numbers, the alphabet, greetings, & more.
