is a small batch potter in Elkins, with a BFA degree, creating unique ceramic works from her home studio using both wheel throwing and hand building techniques. She has a particular interest in the use of color and texture in her work. Macie’s work is always evolving due to her interest in learning new techniques and her joy in experimentation. She has been instructing pottery classes at the Arts Center since the summer of 2014, and she truly enjoys being able to share her passion and expertise with the people in her community. Macie actively serves on the Volunteer and Exhibitions Committee with The Arts Center for a year prior to being on the board.
