Catherine Ritchie
currently serves in membership services at the Elkins-Randolph County YMCA, where she has spent the past eight years supporting member engagement, coordinating outreach efforts, and mentoring new staff. She is also the owner of Mountain Bay Artistry, where she manages all aspects of a small creative business along with creating handcrafted art.
With a strong background in nonprofit service, Catherine brings experience in community engagement, event coordination, and fundraising. A lifelong supporter of the arts, she is passionate about expanding access to creative opportunities across Randolph County and beyond. Catherine’s skills include outreach, volunteer coordination, event planning, public relations, and strategic planning.
In addition to her professional roles, Catherine is an active volunteer across Randolph County. She serves as director of the Woman’s Club of Elkins Juried Arts & Crafts Show as part of the Mountain State Forest Festival, Vice President of the Friends of the Elkins-Randolph County Library, and a board member of the Lions Club of Elkins, along with supporting several other organizations in the community. She's also a member of the Leadership Randolph Class of 2026.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her friends, attending local performances, and going to regional arts & crafts festivals.
