Keegan Campbell – 31 – Morgantown, WV

Keegan Campbell is from Elkins WV, and has lived the last 13 years in Morgantown. He attended WVU for both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and currently works as an Independent Clinical Social Worker. Keegan has always appreciated art, architecture, landscapes, and people’s efforts to create. He enjoys the creepy, dark, ugly, and distorted sides of life, but also enjoys the simplicity of natural beauty, joy, and rich earthy colors. Keegan has never considered himself an artist, but has found immense joy in creating things that spark beauty, while also celebrating the oddities of life. “By putting my work on display, I am inviting each and every person to view me at my most vulnerable, where I create things that make me like me. In all stages of life it’s difficult to cope with the idea that not everyone is going to like who you are, what you do, or what you create, but this me taking on a challenge to further explore my own identity and to further explore ways I can enjoy the person I’ve become.”
