Mini Summer Camps

Fun art camps providing quality education in the arts!

Clothing: Children and Teens should wear comfortable clothing and shoes; preferably something that is OK to get messy.

Snacks:  Please bring a water bottle. We will have filtered water at all times. We do provide snacks. Snacks include crackers, goldfish, ice-pops and fruit. These vary day to day.

Registration: You may register via phone or online. Early Birds: Register by May 1, 2017, to receive a 10% discount! Via snail mail is fine. Download the registration form and mail in with your payment. 

Payment: Payment is due upon registration. Policies are posted on our website. 

Scholarships: Scholarships are available to those demonstrating financial need. Application is required and must be completed in advance.

Explore the art of toys! Dazzle in art inspired by the toys you love. Create your own dolls, make paper friends, homemade puppets, stones that tell a story, recycled art...the stories and toys are endless.

Create your passports, pack your bags, and embark on an artistic adventure! Take a journey to North America, Europe, Africa, and Australia. This class offers a dynamic and diverse exploration of culture and art. From Paper to People: Intro into Rod Puppetry

June 26 to 30, 10:00 am to 12:00, Preteens/Teens

This creative adventure starts the path to a full production puppet show. Design and construct a rod puppet, develop brief scenes, and develop a performance. This course provides knowledge for years of entertaining. Instructor Jacob Currence

July 10 to 14, 1:00 to 3:00 pm, Ages 6 to 12

Find and create your own zoo of imaginary creatures from random watercolor marks, blobs of paint, sidewalk cracks, peeling paint and more. But mixed in with this nonsense is a healthy dose of “real” drawing exercises and lessons to help inspire personality and life into your imaginary animals. Draw from life, photos, and our imaginations while learning watercolor tricks and other art elements, with a personal touch.
