The Arts Center seeks enthusiastic, responsible and focused college students to assist in the office or the art education program.
The Arts Center provides interns with an exciting and rewarding atmosphere, where they will gain valuable experience working in a nonprofit environment. This is an excellent opportunity for interns to establish references and build their resumes in education.
Art Education duties include assisting instructors with art education classes or summer camp classes on site. Interns may be required to assist with various administrative tasks as well. Special projects will be given based on the intern's strengths and educational focus, as well as the needs of the Arts Center.
Business or Management Duties include working with the Director and/or Coordinator with hands on work and shadowing. Interns may be required to assist with various administrative tasks. Special projects will be given based on intern's strengths, as well as the needs of the Arts Center.
Applicants must be a current student studying Elementary Education, Art Education, Business, Management, etc., or a similar major. Must also enjoy working with children, be eager to learn and have a strong work ethic.
