RCCAC Announces “Inspirations for Future Generations” Art Exhibition

The Randolph County Community Arts Center announces the opening of the exhibition  "Inspirations for Future Generations” featuring work by current and retired elementary and secondary art teachers in Barbour, Lewis, Pendleton, Pocahontas, Randolph, Tucker, Upshur, and Webster counties, as well as teachers at the Arts Center. The exhibition will be on display in the Great Hall of the Arts Center through May 19th.

"The RCCAC Exhibits Committee wanted to provide art teachers in our region with the opportunity to exhibit their own works," according to RCCAC Executive Director Beth King. "Each year we sponsor an exhibit to showcase student work but have not had an opportunity specifically for the teachers of those students to exhibit their own work."

Teachers with works on exhibit include Margo Blevin, a retired teacher from Davis and Elkins College and the Randolph County Community Arts Center; Dave Carson, a teacher at Buckhannon Upshur Middle School; Julie Conley, a teacher at Buckhannon Upshur High School; Laurie Gunderson, a former teacher in the Randolph County Schools  with ArtsBank; Leslie Henderson, a teacher at the Randolph County Community Arts Center; Willetta Hinkle, a former teacher in the Randolph County Schools; Kadra Kramer, a teacher at the Randolph County Community Arts Center; Kathryn  A.
