Mastering the Art of Portrait Pastels, Adults

Cost $105 Members and $120 Non Members

Mondays, October 8, 15, 22. Time: 9 am to 4 pm, one hour lunch break

This 3 day intensive workshop brings you a pastel workshop with professional artist Sandra Wright.  This workshop takes the use of pastels to a new level... starting from scratch, using facial proportions, drawing techniques, transfer, use of pastel in the form of pencils and pastel sticks with gentle layering and blending to achieve a professional portrait.

The structure will include warm up exercises, demonstrations and short lectures and some fun group activities. Over the course of the workshop Sandra will cover proportions, perspective, color theory and expressive application of pastels. Plenty of time will be available for you to work in depth with individual guidance. You will come away with renewed creative energy and many new ideas to explore!

Bring snacks if you like.
